October 2012: Edmonton

There is a sound of abundance of rain! At the start of 2012 Trevor Meier spoke over our community that we were to persevere in looking for the cloud on the horizon, the first sign of the mighty rain bringing an end to areas of drought. At our last gathering Mike Love emphasized this same word of encouragement from the story of Elijah in 1Kings 18- your miracle is on its way!   Where do you need God’s favour and the abundance of rain from Heaven? Join us this month as Trevor Meier returns and we continue to contend for the breakthrough God has ordained in your life and in our city!   Re:surgence [Expect Miracles. Experience Freedom. Engage Gods Power] Saturday, October 20, 2012 // 7pm The Paramount Theatre // 10233 Jasper Ave // Edmonton // Alberta   To serve, connect, or share a testimony: email   Living the call,   Travis Holownia and the re:surgence team   --- Trevor Meier | Speaker   Born and raised in a Christian home in rural Saskatchewan, Trevor chose to follow Christ early in his childhood.  At the age of 5 while on the way home from church, Trevor piped up in the back seat of the car saying boldly to his parents, remind me never to become a preacher when I grow up!  Fifteen years later, upon completing Bible College, he entered into full-time ministry as a youth pastor in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Since that time, Trevor and his wife Melanie have also pastored in St. Louis, Missouri and Edmonton, Alberta.  Currently Trevor leads “On the Edge of Time” in Winnipeg, a ministry called to impact the world with the supernatural love and power [...]

February 2012: Edmonton

We are enjoying the firstfruits of the new thing God is doing this season! At our first gathering of the year, Trevor Meier released a faith building word about God’s promises over our lives. Are you expecting and getting prepared for the latent dreams He has placed in your heart? On February 25th, re:surgence is excited to welcome home Lise Palamarchuk. Two years ago Lise made radical changes and decisions in preparation for the greater call God promised over her life. Join us to hear her story and what she has learned about God in the process. Worship with Andrew Gal. Re:surgence [Expect Miracles. Experience Freedom. Engage Gods Power] Saturday, February 25 // 7pm // Pre-Service Prayer // 6pm New Hope Christian Assembly // 7625 89 Street // Edmonton // Alberta Additional information found on the Facebook event here. Consider joining us this re:surgence for pre-service prayer at 6pm. In everything we do, prayer must be our first step. Every meeting we gather early to praise God, give thanks, seek His heart for night and commission our worship team and speaker! Living the call, Travis Holownia and the re:surgence team -- Lise Palamarchuk | Speaker Lise's life was radically changed after attending a re:surgence meeting in October 2009 when God convicted her of living a lukewarm life that did not testify to the  resurrection power of Christ. Shortly after, she felt the call to leave behind the comforts of family, friends and a beautiful teaching career to seek the higher calling on her life. She spent time serving with Hands at Work in South Africa and ultimately ended up at the Iris Ministries Pemba base in Mozambique learning and ministering under Heidi Baker. After a year [...]

April 2011: Edmonton

Update: In our last gathering in March, Sam Farina shared a Word on healing. There were many who were healed, and as a response, we praise and give God the glory. Also, a member of the community who had not been able to contact her father in Japan after the Earthquake and Tsunami has since been able to contact him. He is alive and well. More testimonies to come... As a community of believers, this momentum must continue. April 2011 strives to strengthen and empower people in this momentum to live a lifestyle of Re:surgence everyday. Striving for this daily passion, Re:surgence is an opportunity for those of all ages and denominations to engage in worship, receive from anointed teachers, receive personal ministry, and to build community. For what is the church without community? The heart of Re:surgence is to strengthen the Church in the greater Edmonton area - much as been achieved, but there is much more to come.
