At our Edmonton Gathering in September, 2023 at Spruce Grove Community Church, Travis Holownia shared this amazing word on Luke 5:17-26.
We have a desire to see everyone come to the saving knowledge of Jesus, but oftentimes, in our focus on the crowds, we can miss the one right in front of us. When Jesus was ministering a crowded house, a few men had to break through the roof and lower their friend in need of healing to see Jesus. This ‘interruption’ led to an incredible encounter for the man, who was healed and forgiven by Jesus. In order to reach everyone, we need everyone to know their worth and calling: to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people God places on our path.
