Resurgence invites you to a weekend away to “Revive & Refresh” in our God given purpose; in understanding our identity as sons & daughters; and in our personal intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Experience safe vulnerability within a community that is hungry for the presence of God. This weekend is about encounter Holy Spirit who heals our hearts, equips us for our purpose, and sends us out.
For years we held a Resurgence Advance that was a formative weekend for so many Young Adult lives. Revive & Refresh builds on the idea of the Advance in a new setting with a fresh vibe. It will be a don’t miss weekend.
We are excited to have Doug Balzer, Travis Holownia & members of the Resurgence Lead Team speaking. Worship will be lead by our Resurgence Worship community.
Camp Caroline is one of the best camp facilities in Alberta with a pool, hot tub and gymnasium! About Doug Balzer
Doug Balzer serves as Director of reKindle.tv and Director of Innovation in the Western Canadian District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Based in Calgary, he leads a fantastic team focused upon resourcing the church towards fruitful disciple-making, spiritual renewal and mission to those with limited access to Jesus. Much of his time is given to equipping church leaders towards healthy souls, ministering in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, ministries of healing and deliverance, frequently in partnership with his wife Teri. He has authored two books: The Empowerment Pivot: How God is Redefining our View of Normal (2020) and Light Up the Dark: Restoring Healing and Deliverance to Disciple Making (2021). He has an M.A. in Leadership and Ministry from Ambrose University, Calgary.
