This June we are holding two days (three sessions) of gatherings which we are calling “Resurgence Extended”
As we have journeyed together as a community we have seen the Holy Spirit move in a significant and powerful way each month. It seems to only be increasing! During the course of this year, there has been such a building of momentum as we have been of “like spirit” and hungering more of His presence. We want more!
We firmly believe the call to impact cities and the nation of Canada has never been echoing louder in our hearts. It is HUGE and so we are inviting you to gather for 2 days (3 sessions) to contend for this.
It is a call to hunger. It is a call to worship and experience His presence.
We are excited to have Nathan Edwardson from Redding, California join us. Nathan is the lead pastor of a Christian Missionary Alliance Church he and a team planted called “The Stirring.” Last July while in California, we met Nathan and our hearts immediately connected. He carries something for Canada, for reaching Cities, and seeing revival happen in community! We are so honored he will be with us!! It is a God setup relationship and we are so excited for this time together with him.
Our own Caris Rinas and her team will be leading us in worship!

Nathan Edwardson | Speaker
Nathan Edwardson is the lead pastor of the Stirring church, a young and growing church plant in Redding, California. Nathan’s passion is to see a generation of God’s people standing face to face with God, moving with God’s voice, and living with courage the dreams God has placed in their hearts. A creative visionary, he integrates his love of music and film with his passion for shaping disciples who will shape the world. Nathan and his wife Erica enjoy life with their four children – Ava, Adiah, Asher, and Alicia.
Caris Rinas | Worship
Caris is a home grown Edmontonian, who has a heart for Revival in Canada and beyond. She works part-time as a Hairstylist and is always in active full time ministry! She currently leads worship at City Centre Church, and leads a passionate lifestyle of love and faith for Jesus. She has served on the Resurgence Lead Team since its inception, and her passion for the call and vision has only grown. For the Past 17 years, she has been cultivating purpose filled expression. Through song, Caris leads others in worship to experience the beauty and magnificence of the Father, inspiring & empowering others to live out their faith in real and tangible ways in their everyday life.
Travis Holownia | Host
Travis Holownia has a great passion for God and for people. His greatest desire is to see this generation experience what it means to live in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. God has used Travis in a catalytic way. His speaking and teaching inspires youth, young adults, and all ages by calling the Spirit of God to stir and awaken hearts. Travis is the visionary leader of re:surgence Initiatives, a movement started in 2008 seeking to inspire people to arise together. Re:surgence gathers and releases people who expect the impossible, experience God’s love, empower those around them, and engage in expanding God’s Kingdom. Previously, Travis served for 8 years in the leadership of Christian youth conferences worldwide, and prior to that worked in a management role in the oil industry. Travis calls Edmonton, Canada home, cheers for the Oilers, and holds degrees both in Engineering and Theology.
