Martin Luther King Jr. echoed these epic words: “Everybody can be great because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

Central to the heartbeat of Resurgence is the lifestye of serving. Leighton Ford said: “Whatever our career may be, true leadership means to receive power from God and to use it under Gods rule to serve people in Gods way.” Thus, Resurgence is committed to modelling a lifestyle of servant leadership in everything we do.

However, as a community we see volunteering in a very different way. We are not looking for someone to just fill a spot on our schedule or be another person to do hard work. We want to call the dreams, passions, and vision God has put in you…and call it forth. We value your opinion, sense of ownership, and want you to dream with us. We are organic, will honor you and your time, and will strive to create a culture of thankfulness.

At every Resurgence there are many opportunities for people to serve including:

Ushers

Help people find seats, collect offering, and ensure everyone is comfortable.

Greeters

Welcome people and be the first point of contact at our re:surgence events!

Media Team

We need photographers, videographers, Sound Technicians and Keynote Operators.

Hospitality

Help provide food and setup for community building nights.
