There is such a stirring in our hearts, anticipation, and excitement for what God is doing in our community. We invite you to join us… It is a call to youth, young adults, and adults in the Capital Region to gather together in unity. God has been stirring our community to engage in the World around us. We have been called to see transformation.
We are very excited to welcome Simon Peter Emiau, a leader and overseer to over 4600 churches representing over 1 Million believers in Uganda. He is a statesman for the Gospel that has modeled a Holy Spirit driven lifestyle. He is passionate to see the Holy Spirit use believers to engage in their World and see lives changed! It will be such an honor to have him with us. You won’t want to miss him.

Simon Peter Emiau | Speaker
Bishop Simon Peter is the leader of a growing fellowship of churches in Uganda that now numbers over 4600 with a membership of over 1 million believers. He was instrumental in encouraging pastors during the years of oppression and opposition faced by Christians. He continues to help lead the church to engage in social transformation through local sustainable solutions to poverty and development. He is a gifted motivator and seeks to breed a ‘can do’ attitude in the lives of all who hear him communicate the message of the gospel. He also leads the Missions Transformation Centre which seeks to unleash the potential of the church to touch the Great Lakes region of Africa. He is passionate about releasing the African Church to reach the over 300 Million unreached peoples of the continent, particularly in the Muslim and Arab North. He believes in the potential of the African Church to fulfill the Great Commission and bring a message of freedom and reconciliation not only to Africa but to the world.
Caris Rinas | Worship
Caris lives in Edmonton where she currently leads worship at City Centre Church, and leads a passionate lifestyle of love and faith for Jesus. She has served on the re:surgence Lead Team since its inception, and her passion for the call and vision has only grown. Through song, Caris leads others in worship to experience the beauty and magnificence of God, inspiring others to live out their faith in real and tangible ways in daily life.
