We are honored to have Michael Larson and Ken Solbrekken joining us at this meeting. Both of these men of God have walked with us since the beginning of re:surgence, and we feel this will be a significant meeting as we continue to build on the foundation laid with them 3 1/2 years ago.
Michael Larson | Worship
Michael Larson is a worship leader and songwriter. He is currently a part of the worship community at First Assembly Church in Calgary, Alberta where he serves on the pastoral team. The love of gospel music was infused in his heart at a very young age by his parents, and grand-parents, who were involved in music in some shape or form. The author of the song “Freedom Reigns” continues to travel internationally as a worship leader and advocate for the child sponsorship organization Compassion. Michael is married to Jennie and has two children, Emma and Ethan.
Ken Solbrekken | Speaker
Ken Solbrekken has been the District Superintendent of the Alberta & NWT District since April 2007. Prior to his election, Ken served this District for nine years as Secretary/Treasurer & Director of Pastoral Care and then as the Assistant Superintendent. Ken and his wife Lena met in the United States, after graduating from Bible College they were married in Sweden in 1984. After moving to Edmonton, together they raised their three daughters, Louise, Angeline and Linette. Ken’s pursues God in everything that he does as part of his desire to see the will and blessing of God unfold in his life and the lives of those around him. It is this desire that has birthed in him a heart to see a generation turn to Christ through a Church Planting and Multiplication movement.

re:surgence is really excited to host worship leader Sean Feucht on June 8th and 9th in Edmonton. You will not want to miss these two night with Sean. On June 8th, it will be a teaching night on worship. Then on Saturday, June 9th… Sean will lead worship at re:surgence! So mark it on your calendars and plan to attend these two significant nights of ministry. More information coming soon!
Sean Feucht is a revivalist and founder of a grassroots global worship, prayer and missions organization called Burn 24/7. His lifelong quest and dream is to witness a generation of burning hearts arise across the nations of the world with renewed faith, vision and sacrificial pursuit after the Presence of God with reckless abandon. He has produced, recorded and released twelve worship albums, numerous teaching resources and recently co-authored his first book “Fire and Fragrance.” He is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
