Come+Union | Defining Worship [Mar/Apr 2019] | Resurgence

You are invited to be part of a five week experience focused on defining worship, starting March 25, 2019!

A lifestyle of Resurgence invites people to expect revival and actively engage in building the Kingdom of God beyond just a night, event or conference. It involves establishing deep and meaningful connections with God and others.

COME+UNION = COMMUNION | 5 weeks in defining worship.

Communion:

1) The sharing intimate thoughts or feelings, especially when exchanged on a mental or spiritual level.

2) The service of Christian worship of which bread and wine are consecrated & shared.

3) A relationship of recognition and acceptance between Christian churches or denominations, or between individual Christians or Christian communities and a Church. A group of Christian communities or churches that recognize one another’s ministries.

Come+Union is an interactive teaching series focused on redefining and reminding you of the true meaning of worship. Worship is not just songs for 30 minutes before a sermon or your favourite worship CD, but rather a life style and everyday connection with the Father. The hope and goal for Come+Union is to empower the individual from pew to platform, from your personal interactions with God to corporate interactions within the local church and Resurgence. This will be a space to grow and develop a deeper understanding of what it means to get back to the garden – back to your first love – of how God intended you to be with him in your everyday living.

THE DETAILS

Dates: Monday Nights – March 25, April 1, 8, 15, (No Easter Monday), 29

Time: 6:45pm – 9:30pm

Location: Central Baptist Church | Southeast Site (4357 Savaryn Drive, Edmonton, AB)

Cost: $65 // $35 for full-time students

Week 2: Language – Finding your Connection Points with the Lord
Week 3: Vulnerability – Naked & Unashamed
Week 4: PAINT NIGHT
Week 5: Everyday Living – An Invitation to Active Participation
